A lit roofline is the outline of the house. Trees and bushes are what fill the yard in and give it depth after dark. On the newer Johnson County lots with young front-yard trees and foundation plantings, this is usually the biggest change for the smallest add-on.
What we light
- Wrapped trunks and branches. Strands run tight up the trunk and out along the limbs — the look most people picture, and the one that takes the longest to do by hand.
- Canopy lighting. Larger trees lit through the crown rather than wrapped.
- Bushes and shrubs. Mini lights over foundation plantings and hedges along the front of the house.
- Entryway plantings. The pots, planters, and small trees flanking the door.
Matched to your roofline.
We use the same bulb color and temperature as your roofline install, so the yard doesn't look like two separate jobs. Warm white, cool white, or color. If you want the trees a different color than the roof, we'll do it — but we'll show you what it looks like first.
